The romantic and sentimental "Your Heart Belongs to Me," written by Smokey Robinson, should have been the Supremes' first hit. It's every bit as charming as his chartbusters for Mary Wells. Diana Ross' sweet tender lead, assisted by Mary Wilson and Florence Ballard's warm harmonies, could melt icebergs. Ross' vocals on "Who's Lovin' You" are intense and bluesy; Wilson leads the soulful "Baby 6/

Ross sings lead on most, but Ballard (Buttered Popcorn) and Wilson (Baby Don't Go) sing lead on some songs. CD 1 includes the album, "Meet The Supremes," with both the mono and stereo versions of the songs, and includes four live previously unreleased bonus tracks from the "Motor Town Revue" concerts that the Motown acts would take on the road/5(17).

Flos vocals on the raucous Buttered Popcorn convey the double entendre lyrics of the song to perfection, whilst Marys lead on Baby Dont Go shows she was no vocal slouch either. There are no hits on Meet The Supremes, even though four tracks were extracted as singles/5(14).
