The Waves Roll Out The Waves Roll Out (Bob Gibson/Shel Silverstein) Come along boys, I'll sing you a song; Of the days when the fish were thick and I was young and strong. We set sail in the morning, In the teeth of a howling wind And the waves roll out, and the waves roll in And the waves roll out, and the waves roll in Then late that night.

out of 5 stars A most memorable experience, experienced again Reviewed in the United States on December 10, Verified Purchase. One of the richest and most vibrant of Gibson's albums, "Where I'm Bound" takes the listener on a tributory journey through tragedy and triumph, love and anguished pain, in such style and form: Bob Gibson becomes iconic of the period's folk-revivalist /5(6).

Bob Gibson was a folksinger in the mid-'50s before folk singing became cool. Along with Hamilton Camp, he made a big splash in with At the Gate of Horn, and by the time he released Where I'm Bound in , the folk revival was winding down. Like a number of albums from the revival, much of Where I'm Bound holds fast to tradition by featuring no more than a man and a guitar.8/
